    This degree program is typically delivered over 4 years at full time.

    Year 1

    Your first year will see you learning the basics of business and HR management.

    Learning And Teaching

    You’ll attend formal lectures and interactive tutorials, read independently, and interact with business and industry throughout your four years. You’ll learn via role playing and simulation at first, and then by delivering live projects to real world clients.

    Abertay University assesses your progress through this 4 year program via traditional examinations, business reports, presentations and a range of individual and group activities. You’ll also have access to the Innovation for Global Growth event.

    Career Possibilities

    This degree is respected locally, nationally and internationally. The UK economy adds many thousands of Human Resources and Management jobs annually, so few students have difficulty finding a suitable role. In fact, most of the university’s Business & HR graduates are employed or enrolled in higher degree programs within 6 months of graduation. Many become Human Resources Officers or Recruiters, though a wide range of management roles are also likely to present themselves.  

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 4 year BA degree.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An excellent IELTS score would qualify, for example.
