    Course Outline

    This degree program is typically delivered over 4 years at full time.

    Year 1

    Your first year will see you learning the basics of computer science and coding.

    Year 4

    Learning And Teaching

    You’ll attend formal lectures, interactive tutorials and laboratory-based sessions for between 12 and 16 hours each week. The lectures will introduce new topics and information, while the tutorials and lab sessions will develop your hands-on, practical skills I the same area.

    Abertay University assesses your progress through this 4 year program via traditional examinations, coursework, classroom tests and practical project work. Roughly 20% of your marks will be bases on examination scores, and the rest on coursework.

    Entry & Credit

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An excellent IELTS score would qualify, for example.
