    Course Outline

    • Application and Integration

    Here you’ll explore ways to integrate management and financial skills in the business world.

    • Business Economics

    You’ll study basic economic principles as well as learning how to apply them to management strategy and decision making.

    • Financial Analysis and Decision Making

    You’ll learn core accounting, financial decision making and financial analysis skills relevant to roles like that of General Manager.

    • Implementation Delivery and Development

    This module addresses issues under Consulting, operations and Supply Chain Management, and techniques for designing business processes.

    • Investments, Corporate Finance and Financial Markets

    This module covers corporate finance and investment analysis in depth. It conveys not just theory but practical application skills.

    • Marketing and Strategy for Managers

    Marketing and strategy will be dealt with separately and in great detail. You’ll explore both theory and real world case studies.

    • People and Organisations

    This module explores organisational behaviour and the nature of the employment relationship.

    Learning And Teaching

    Aberystwyth University’s Business School divides its Master’s programs into 2 parts. In part one you’ll have extensive lectures, seminars, case studies and practical skills exercises as well as formal examinations. This will amount to approximately 12 ‘contact hours’ each week, as well as a great deal of individual study. In part two you will conduct research and submit the research dissertation that is the capstone of the MSc program.

    Entry & Credit

    All classes are taught in English (though some are available in Welsh as well), and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
