Course Summary
Art University Bournemouth’s Film Production MA program is a great place for ambitious, talented new film makers to learn the finer points of their craft. You’ll explore theory and critical practice to be sure, but the bulk of your time will be spent making actual films. This will go far beyond the short student films you may already have made, and approaches film production from the perspective of the industry.
This course is intended to serve as a ‘bridge to industry’. That means it will give you the skills you’ll need to take an active role in that industry, as well as the contacts and professional skills you’ll need to find those roles. Throughout the Film Production MA program you’ll learn to collaborate, to develop extensive products alongside other film makers and industry professionals, and of course to make the kind of product management decisions that turn these projects into commercial realities.
