    Course Summary

    The University of Aston’s BSc in Business and Supply Chain Management is a great way for you to start a new career, or take the next steps in your current role. Not only will you come to understand the basics of business, economics and commercial law, you’ll learn the leadership skills it takes to effectively manage small and large teams within your chosen industry.

    This program takes advantage of Aston’s close links with the NOVUS Trust. During your first year, you’ll have a chance to attend an assessment with Novus. If you are accepted, you can make use of their work experience and mentoring resources. If you graduate with a 2:1 or better, you may well be offered graduate employment there as well.

    In addition you’ll spend in paid placement learning real world business and management skills. If you succeeded at your NOVUS assessment, this placement could be with them.

    Year 3 (Placement)

    Learning And Teaching

    The University of Aston relies on a wide range of different teaching methods, depending on the nature of each module. These include lectures, group work, interactive tutorials, detailed case studies and presentations.

    This program in particular places a lot of emphasis on group and individual projects and presentations, and much of your final year’s marks will be based on your Final Tear Project. Your progress will be assessed by end of term examinations as well as by your coursework.
