    Course Outline

    This course allows students to continue working and developing their careers while learning. The modules below are taught on weekends only, typically over 8 ‘long weekends’ – Friday to Sunday – every year. Most employers are happy to make time for their employee’s career development in this way.

    In the first year you’ll take three ‘core’ modules and select one elective. The second year includes 1 core and 3 elective modules, allowing you to really build your own specialty. The final year is almost entirely devoted to your Major Project.

    Learning And Teaching

    Aston University’s MSc program in Engineering leadership and Management relies on small-group oriented teaching methods. These include tutorials, highly interactive lectures, guest lectures from industry professionals and a series of site visits to many of Aston University’s industrial and commercial partner organisations. Assessment will be based on end of term exams and a wide range of coursework, including an extensive research project which you will complete in your final semester.
