    Course Summary

Pharmacy is a very broad subject, incorporating not just clinical, patient-facing practice but also the development, design, supply, delivery and control of drugs and medications of all kinds. Aston University’s MPharm degree program is a 4 year course of study designed to give graduates the skills they will need to become pharmacy practitioners, either under the NHS or in the private medical care sector. It was developed in consultation with health care providers, industry regulators, major employers of pharmacists and with the patients themselves.

Aston’s MPharm is ranked among the UK’s top ten pharmacy programs by the 2017 Complete University Guide, and provides a world class education to 170 new students every year. The program is very much patent-focused. It includes a range of casework, clinical scenarios and problem based learning to convey the practical skills pharmacists need in addition to the scientific background they will rely upon every day.
