    Course Outline

    This degree program is typically delivered over a single year of full time evening study. Alternatively, it can be taken over 2 years of part time evening study. Either option allows you to continue on with your current career, family responsibilities or other projects during the day.  

    You will take a total of eight taught modules throughout that time. These will include both compulsory modules listed below as well as 2 modules from Group One and 2 from Group 2 listed below. The final 2 modules may come from the Department of Management or another department, pending approval. You will also complete a dissertation.

    Learning & Teaching

    Birkbeck, University of London’s Management with Business Innovation program is delivered primarily through lectures, tutorials, practical skills classes and seminar sessions. Some modules are available as distance learning or blended learning programs.

    You will have access to pastoral support through a designated Personal Tutor throughout your time in the program. The university’s Learning and Development service can offer additional support in terms of your written English, numeracy and academic skills.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 1 year MSc degree.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no section scoring less than 6.0 would qualify, for example.
