    Course Outline

    This degree program is typically delivered over a single year of three terms at full time. You’ll learn teamworking techniques, and use them to explore the course content in much greater detail. This will in many ways mimic the multidisciplinary practice that has become the standard of modern business, further preparing you to take up a career in your chosen sector or industry.

    Your Individual Master’s Project is the capstone of the program. It will see you undertake an extensive research project which explores an area within your chosen industry or area of specialisation in great depth. Not only will you be expected to deliver some kind of practical outcome, you’ll generate a wide range of context material upon which your academic achievements will be judged.

    Learning And Teaching

    BCU’s MSc degree in Project Management is delivered through several modules. Each meets weekly for 12 weeks. A typical meeting includes an hour-long knowledge cast by the course tutor, followed by an in-depth seminar session. That will be followed by various group activities, amounting to a further 2 hours of contact time. You will also do a great deal of independent study, supported by an assigned Individual Tutor as well as by the university’s Virtual Learning Environment.

    Career Possibilities

    BCU’s Project Management degree program is fully accredited by the Association for Project Management. That means employers will understand your capabilities and are more likely to give you preference over similarly placed graduates without such a qualification. On successful completion of the program you’ll be well qualified to accept a role at a major national or international organisation or to form a consultancy which specialises in product management within a specific field or industry.

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in a full MSc degree.

    Applicants must typically have earned a graduate or undergraduate degree at 2:2 or better, or the international equivalent. The full list of accepted qualifications can be found here.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no section scoring less than 5.5 would qualify, for example.
