In addition to those technical skills, though, you’ll learn about leadership, about the demands of controlling and managing IT projects and how to acquire new IT services.

This program is accredited by the BCS, and with only a year of specialised training after graduation you can register as a Chartered IT Professional

You must sign up for the 4 year degree program with 30+ weeks of work experience, though you may opt out of the placement and graduate in 3 years. You should seriously consider taking the placement though, as this will ensure that you get the kind of real world experience that IT employers are looking for.

They ensure that you learn in industry-standard facilities with high end technology, ensuring that you are ready to step into nearly any IT management role on graduation. Their dedication to flexible learning sees you attending lectures and seminars as well as doing independent learning. They also see to it that you get real world experience both in your studies and in your optional placement year.

    Career Possibilities

Many students prefer to enter a higher degree program such as a Master’s or a research-based degree, either at Bournemouth University or elsewhere.
