    The BSc in Banking and Finance from Brunel London University is a new course, designed to turn out the kind of highly skilled, ambitious and talented graduates the banking and finance industries demand.     Learning And Teaching

    Brunel’s Banking and Finance BSc relies on a fairly standard mix of lectures, workshops and seminars throughout most of the program. In the first year you will have between 12 and 14 hours of directed study each week, as well as a substantial amount of independent study time. As you progress through the program, you’ll have less time in class, but you’ll be expected to put in more study time for each module.

    Career Possibilities

    This BSc program has a remarkable 6 month employment rate. Many graduates go on to higher level study, typically to become Accountants or Economists. Many more, however, go directly into the banking and finance industry in a professional or regulatory capacity. Recent graduates have secured challenging and rewarding posts at organisations like UBS, the London Stock Exchange, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, PwC, Morgan Stanley, Ernst & Young, HSBC and NatWest.

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in a either a 3 year BSc degree or a 4 year ‘thick sandwich’ BSc with work placement.

    Applicants must typically have achieved 3 A Levels at BBB or better, including a B in Maths. Note that General Studies A Levels cannot be applied to this requirement. Other academic qualifications can also be accepted.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test such as the IELTS.
