    Course Summary

The fashion industry is prone to rapid changes at the very best of times, and can be utterly disrupted overnight. As new types of consumer demand, new business models, new materials and new manufacturing technologies sweep the old ways of doing business aside, there is a constant demand for highly trained marketing, promotion and commination experts to take these organisations forward.

Buckinghamshire New University’s BA is a perfect way for anyone with passion, creativity and ambition to qualify themselves for an exciting career in the fashion industry, either in the UK or abroad. You’ll gain a holistic view of the industry and your potential places within it.

This program incorporates an optional Foundation Year, which makes it accessible to almost anyone, regardless of their performance when it comes to A Levels (or the international equivalent). You’ll receive all the necessary basic skills to succeed in your BA (Honours) degree in that first Foundation Year.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. In later years, the emphasis shifts more and more towards self-learning.
