Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Internship:

In addition to learning in the classroom, you may have the opportunity to spend several months in an arranged internship placement. You will be able to apply the techniques and concepts you’ve learned through the program to real world business problems.

This will allow you to build up a contact network, one of the most valuable assets in your early business career. Perhaps more importantly, though, you’ll have something few other graduates do – industry specific work experience.

    Learning And Teaching

Camosun’s educational focus has always been intensely practical, largely due to its shared history as a vocational school. Class sizes are small – typically no more than 40 students – and there is even an internship option to make sure that you can graduate with more than a post-graduate diploma, but also real world skills in your field or industry of choice. Everything is arranged to make sure you are ready for a brilliant career.

    Career Possibilities

Your employability will be much greater of you elect the internship option, but in any case you’ll be graduating with a general business skill set and the kind of industry or subject specific skills that you’ll need to be a big success in your chosen career. You could find yourself accepting a high level role in customer service management, advertising, public relations, marketing management, sales management, communications management, or even business consulting.

    Entry & Credit

Successful completion will result in a Post-Degree Diploma in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing.

Interested students will need to have a good Baccalaureate degree or the international equivalent in order to apply for the program.

All classes are taught in English unless otherwise noted. Students for non-English speaking countries may have to take an English language test such as the IELTS.
