    Course Summary

A BA degree in Accounting and Finance will prepare you for a wide range of different career paths, and that is exactly what Cardiff Met’s Accounting and Finance BA program is designed to do.

You’ll study the length and breadth of the subject of accounting and be able to select your own specialties at higher levels of study. In addition, you’ll explore banking, financial services and international finances and fully prepare yourself to work in that industry as well.

This program is fully accredited by a range of professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants. This accreditation means that you may be eligible for exemptions from many of the tests required to register with these organisations. This will be a huge boost to your employability after you graduate.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Again, your ICAEW and ACCA exemptions will come I handy here.
