    Course Summary

Falmouth University offers an interesting combination between their business and creative arts programs. Their MA in Creative Advertising blends their institutional expertise in design and visual media with their thriving business degree programs to deliver an important set of skills to graduates. One of the core aspects of this course is the ability to perform strategic planning and conceptual thinking in regards to advertising campaigns. As a result, the program is just as useful to creatives who are looking to monetise their skills as it is to future managers who intend to oversee creatives in an advertising context.

This course also conveys a wide range of ‘general employability’ skills which could improve your ability to find work or your chances for promotion within your current organisation. As a part of this commitment to job skills, you will have the opportunity to explore many skills workshops and work placements as you study.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
