    Learning And Teaching

Each module in this degree program will rely on different teaching methods, as appropriate to the subject matter. These will typically include large scale lectures, smaller tutorial sessions and a high proportion of lab or practical sessions. You’ll typically spend 70% of your efforts on independent learning in year one. This includes reading, preparing coursework and revising for exams. That percentage rises to around 76% in year 2 and again to 85% in your final year.

    Career Possibilities

Skilled Computer Science graduates are in high demand, so there is little danger of you not being able to find work. However, the best roles are fiercely competitive. Taking advantage of the opportunity for a year in work placement is one of the best things you can do to improve your competitive edge. Working on a final year project that corresponds to your intended career path is another good way.

    Entry & Credit

Successful completion will result in a 3 year BSc degree, or a 4 year degree with work placement.

Applicants must typically have earned 3 A Levels at BBB or higher, but other qualifications are also accepted. The full list can be found here.

Most classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An IELTS score of 6.0 overall and no sections scoring less than 5.5 would qualify.
