    Course Summary

Zoologists study the animals which share our world. They seek to understand how these animals behave, how they evolve, and how they can be both protected from and integrated with human society. In this age of environmental degradation and shrinking wild ecosystems, many zoologists feel the need to bring environmental management techniques into their practices. That is where degree programs like this come in.

A Zoology and Environmental Management BSc from Harper Adams will teach you about the physiology, natural environment, behaviour and survival of the world’s animals. You’ll learn about common domesticated animals and livestock, but also wild animals and those few species which are neither one nor the other. You’ll also learn how wild animals and their habitats can be protected from climate change, invasive species, human encroachment and environmental pollution. The teaching staff include veterinarians, entomologists, environmental specialists, conservationists and a range of world-leading researchers in related fields.
