    Keele University’s BSc in Computer Science is your gateway to an exciting, challenging and very rewarding career in the Computer and Information Sciences. You’ll gain more than just the ability to code or program computers. You’ll come to understand how you can solve real world business, commercial or industrial problems with a new computer or software system. You’ll also learn how these developments can make everyday lives easier.

    You’ll learn the maths and information sciences which underpin modern computer science, as well as the hardware systems and software techniques which make these theories operate in the real world. You’ll learn from researchers who are pushing the cutting edge of computer science research.

    Career Possiblities

    A full 96% of Keele’s Computer Science graduates had found appropriate work roles or had gone on to higher level studies within 6 months in 2017. New graduates are in high demand form employers, and your degree will qualify you to work in roles like Systems Analyst, Software Engineer or Computer Science Consultant for regional and international organisations

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 3 year BSc degree, or a 4 year BSc with a year in working placement.

    Applicants must typically have achieved 3 A Levels at ABB or higher, as well as CGSE scores of C(4) in Maths and English. The full list of accepted UK qualifications can be found here.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
