    Learning And Teaching

    Leeds Beckett University’s Psychology BSc program is delivered primarily through lectures, computer workshops and seminar sessions, but also features working education options. Some of the modules listed above may be available as distance learning or blended learning programs. Though such modules will include less face-to-face time with the course tutor, many educational technologies are available to provide a fully interactive learning experience.

    The university can offer additional support in terms of your written English, numeracy and academic skills, or for any special needs you may have.

    Career Possibilities

    This degree is an excellent first step to becoming a professional psychologist, or taking up a career in almost any field that is aided by an understanding of the human mind.

    Many recent graduates of the program have gone on to study at the post graduate level, with MAs in Psychological Therapies or Interdisciplinary Psychology, or an MSc in the Psychology of Sport and Exercise, for example. Others have become Psychologists Councillors and Social Researchers.

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 3 year BSc degree.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no section scoring less than 5.5 would qualify, for example.
