    Course Summary

Computer science graduates are in higher demand than ever before, which also places a high premium on graduates with higher level CS degrees. The Advanced Computer Science MSc program that Liverpool Hope University offers is intended to improve your employability in a wide range of different sectors and industries, and to prepare you to take up a leadership or management role supervising other engineers in the field or at the workplace.

As you progress through this one year program you’ll dramatically enhance your skills in regards to Applied Computer Science, Coding and Programming, Data Analytics and Numerical Methods as well as research and the theoretical side of Computer Science. You’ll also have access to advanced elective modules which will allow you to build a unique (and uniquely marketable) specialty for yourself. This should be selected with your own interests in mind, but also with an eye towards your intended career path.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills.
