This is a single year program, delivered over three semesters.
Taught modules will be delivered in the first two semesters, each amounting to 60 credits. After a student has successfully completed the full 120 credits worth of taught modules they will begin work on a substantial Final Project and Dissertation.
Taught modules typically include:
- Advances in Computer Science
- Applied Computer Science
- Artificial Intelligence
- Cyber Security
- Data Analytics
- Data Communications
- High Performance Computing
- Numerical Methods
- The Internet of Things
- Theoretical Computer Science
- Visualisation, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality
The dissertation you deliver will be a true test of your research, experimental and technical writing skills. It will be worth a full 60 credits, and should represent a meaningful investigation into the area of Computer Science in which you will specialise. The topic can be selected form a pool of options presented by academic staff or can be developed with the approval of the PG Coordinator.
