    Course Outline

    This BA program is delivered over 4 years at full time. In addition, there is an optional year in work placement between years 3 and 4.

    Learning & Teaching

    LJMU’s business programs are taught with input from organisations like Reuters, General Motors, BT, BAE and Mercedes-Benz in order to ensure that they convey exactly the skills that employers demand. You’ll learn in large lectures, smaller, more interactive seminars and tutorials, and practice what you’ve learned in business simulations. Your progress will be assessed by written exams, coursework and based on the reports and projects you’ll deliver throughout your time there.

    Career Possiblities

    As of 2015/16, more than 96% of LJMU’s Business graduates had found employment or entered further studies within 6 months. Recent graduates have accepted positions with organisations like Deloitte, Santander, Kellogg and even the Everton Football Club.

    Your job search will be aided both before and after graduation by the Business School’s Employability Support Unit. They will also help you find the perfect paid placement if you select that option.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 4 year BA degree, or a 5 year degree with a year in placement.

    Applicants must typically have achieved 2 A Levels or better. Other UK and overseas qualifications are accepted. The full list of accepted qualifications can be found here.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
