    Course Summary

London South Bank University is known for its MBA programs, and their MBA focusing on Construction and Infrastructure Management is a great example of why. In addition to the ‘core’ content that is a part of nearly any MBA degree – basic business skills, personnel and project management and leadership skills – this program contains a great deal of material that is specific to the construction industry and to infrastructure management projects of all kinds.

It is largely focused on examples of real world businesses and how they met challenges and opportunities. You’ll choose one or more case studies at the beginning of the program, based on your interests and intended areas of specialty. The activities you’ll engage in throughout the degree program will relate to your case study in particular, and you’ll be able to see how similar situations have been handled in the past – both successfully and unsuccessfully.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
