    Learning And Teaching

    McGill University’s medical program is very practical and clinical-skills focused, with an emphasis on imparting the patient-focused skills you’ll need to do meaningful work in the field, either in the public or private sector.

    Opportunities to access study support will be presented. These will include the development of your professional writing and research skills. You will also take part in site visits, special projects and other events and learning activities as appropriate throughout your time at university.

    Career Possibilities

     Of course, this is a qualifying medical degree, and the end goal is almost always for students to become practicing physicians. However, teaching and research options are always open as well.

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in an MD, CM degree.

    In order to apply, students must meet several degree requirements, typically consisting of a 4 year bachelor’s degree in any subject, or the international or First Nations equivalent.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test such as the TOEFL or IELTS.
