     Memorial University’s MASc in Oil and Gas Engineering includes two degree pathways, one thesis based and the other course based. In addition, the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science offer MEng and PhD programs in Oil and Gas Engineering.     This degree program is typically delivered over 2 years of full time study. The list below assumes that you are following the course based degree pathway. The requirements for the thesis based pathway are very different.

    Entry & Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 2 year MASc degree.

    Applicants must typically have completed a relevant engineering degree at the Baccalaureate level, or the international equivalent. Entry is competitive, and applicants should be able to show good overall grades.

    All classes are taught in English unless otherwise noted, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
