    Course Summary

Middlesex University London’s MSc program in Biomedical Science with a focus in Medical Immunology is designed to greatly expand a life sciences graduate’s understanding of cutting edge immunological concepts and technologies. The program is fully accredited by the IBMS (Institute of Biological Sciences), the leading professional body in this field.

You’ll learn how immune system disorders develop and are detected, how immunotherapeutic reagents are used in practice, and how to conduct several classes of immunoassays. In addition, you’ll develop the vocabulary and theoretical framework you’ll need to discuss and research medical immunology issues in a clinical or laboratory context.

This degree program is often taken on a part time basis. This allows students who are already working in the field to gain the educational certifications they need to qualify for promotion to a more responsible role in their organisations. With the right training and certification, nearly anything is possible.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
