Course Summary
Middlesex University London’s combined BEng / MEng degree program in Product Design Engineering will equip you with the knowledge, practical skills and industry connections you’ll need to forge a rewarding and fast-paced career in designing new and innovative consumer products.
You’ll learn to apply both the principles of mechanical design and physical computing to a wide range of domestic product types, as well as becoming proficient in all of the latest industry standard software packages and productivity tools. This will leave you well prepared for the real world’s multidisciplinary working environments.
You’ll also have the option of a year in professional placement. This represents a great opportunity for you, as you’ll learn real world design engineering skills from people already working in the field. You might even be offered post graduate employment by your placement host, if you impress them well enough.
