    Course Outline

    This degree program is typically delivered over 3 years at full time.

    Initially, you’ll be ‘learning how to learn’ by gaining a solid foundation in maths and statistics. This will include not merely background knowledge but also core research skills. In your second year you’ll learn more advanced concepts, as well as undertaking a work placement module. Your final year will see you specialising your learning to suit your chosen career pathway, as well as more work-based learning options.

    Learning & Teaching

    Newman University’s Mathematics BSc program is delivered primarily through lectures, interactive seminars and practical skills workshops.
