    Northumbria University’s BSc in Computer Science is delivered by professional staff who have years of experience, many of whom publish highly specialised research in their fields. You’ll learn in lectures, tutorials, individual and group research projects and of course in the lab, helping to advance the discipline as you go. Your progress will be assessed based on your coursework, your exam results, and on your final Individual Computing Project.

    Computer Science graduates have an excellent 6 month employment rate, as so many different industries need these experts to develop and apply the latest technological and process advancements.     Entry Credit

    This is a 3 year BSc or a 4 year BSc with a year in industry.

    Applicants must typically have achieved GCSEs in Maths and English at 4 (C) or better. Many other qualifications can also accepted. They can be found here.  

    International students must be fluent in written and spoken English. This can be demonstrated by an IELTS score of 6.0 or better overall and no less than 5.5 in any one segment.
