    Learning And Teaching

The Okanagan School of Business’ BBA programs are delivered primarily through lectures, skills workshops, seminar classes and business simulations. In addition to learning in the classroom and the field, though, you’ll have access to the Learning Centres at Kelowna, Salmon Arm and Revelstoke. The Learning Centres offer many different kinds of academic support to students at all levels, including study support, writing workshops, computer and printer access and referral to other student services.

    Career Possibilities

Many of the students who graduate from Okanagan College’s BBA program seek out either professional training or Master’s level studies, such as an MBA program. Other students go directly into work in a wide range of fields, not just those closely related to business.

Many more students, though, go directly into banking, finance and investment roles. They often become chartered financial analysts, bonds and equities traders, business developers or strategists, commodity analysts or traders or corporate financial managers.

    Entry & Credit

Successful completion will result in a BBA degree with a specialisation in Finance.

You should already have a Canadian secondary school education or the international equivalent, including English 12 at 70% or better as well as good scores in Maths or related fields.

All classes are taught in English unless otherwise noted.
