    Learning & Teaching

Oxford Brookes’ IT Management degree relies on several different teaching methods. These include Tutorial sessions, strategic and problem solving classes, practical skill building activities and formal lectures in a class setting. You’ll spend something like 22% to 23% of your learning time in classes and the remainder in independent study in years 1 and 2. In year three those percentages change to approximately 16% contact time and 84% independent study.

    Career Possiblities

Graduates of this course rarely struggle to find suitable work. Your employability will be enhanced by an opportunity to spend a full year in work placement between years 2 and 3. Oxford Brookes has been able to arrange placements with organisations like PayPal, Nestle, GlaxoSmithKline, Ernst & Young, Dyson, IBM, BMW and Aldi. You can enhance that further by completing your registration as a Chartered IT Professional with BCS.

    Entry Credit

Successful completion will result in a 3 year BSc degree.

Applicants must typically have achieved 112 UCAS tariff points, or the international equivalent. Beyond that, a wide range of qualifications are accepted.

All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
