A UEFA B License would allow you to teach at professional football club academies, for example. Note that this level of certification would require successful application with the Devon FA.

Students are attracted to this program for many reasons. For example, Marjon has a 180 year tradition for turning out top notch educators of all kinds. Its Education graduates also tend to earn higher salaries than graduates from any other school in the South West or Wales.

Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. However, there is also a great deal of emphasis on gaining practical, real world skills.

Towards that end, you’ll complete a working placement of at least 100 hours in order to gain actual coaching experience. Study Abroad and Summer Abroad experiences will also be available.

    Career Possiblities

More than 95% of Marjon’s graduates find suitable work (or enter into higher degree programs) within 6 months of successfully completing their degrees.

This degree has the potential to earn you positions with a wide range of organisations in the football industry, from country or school sports partnerships to schools and local authorities or commercial coaching providers, professional football clubs or any number of charitable organisations. Postgraduate study is also a great possibility.

    Entry Credit

Successful completion will result in a 3 year BA degree.

Applicants must typically have earned 96 UCAS Tariff points, 3 A Levels at CCC or better, or the international equivalent. The full list of qualifications which are accepted can be found here.
