Course Summary
The BSc program in Agricultural Technology at Queen’s University Belfast is designed to help Northern Ireland’s (and the world’s) agricultural professionals cope with local, national, European and global policy changes as well as an increasingly volatile natural environment.
You’ll gain a better understanding of crop and animal production systems (especially in terms of sustainability), the impacts of government and international policies on the agricultural industry and how to manage an agricultural business. Perhaps more importantly, you’ll learn how to approach the work environment professionally, how to manage and evaluate project work, and how to devise appropriate environmental management strategies.
You can also take this BSc as Agricultural Studies with Professional Studies. This version will combine the above with a better understanding of how to apply your degree to the modern workplace. You will also be supported with career management planning assistance
