    Course Summary

Robert Gordon University’s MPharm degree program trains you to be a Pharmacist, able to advise patients on the latest treatments and most advanced pharmaceuticals, and able to deliver many treatments on their own authority. Pharmacists work as vital parts of most modern healthcare teams and change millions of lives for the better as they do.

You’ll learn the scientific principles behind modern healthcare and pharmaceutical prescription, and the latest patient care strategies. This course is very much student-centred in its approach to teaching, not only giving you the tools and knowledge you’ll need to do your job, but the reflective learning and evidence-based practice approaches you’ll need to become a life-long learner.

This degree program was designed with an eye towards maximum graduate employability. In fact, the Times Good University Guide for 2018 ranked this MPharm program as the UK’s best in terms of graduate prospects for Pharmacy and Pharmacology.

Many students become hospital pharmacists or take work at a community pharmacy. Others work in the pharmaceutical industry or even veterinary pharmacy.
