    An MBA with a focus on International Management from the Royal Holloway University of London will give you the understanding and skills you need to take a managerial role in nearly any industry on an international level.     You’ll engage in the International MBA Study Tour, a 5 day intensive Study Abroad session where you will attend lectures, interact with the representatives of international companies and interact with other students from all over the world. In addition you’ll have a year’s paid placement in a business context, giving you vital working experience.

    Course Outline

    Core Modules:

    • Foundations of Modern Management and Organisational Analysis

    This introductory module will convey the core elements of management, as well as how to analyse the structure of various organisation types.

    • Foundations of Professional Development

    This module introduces students to the basics of personal development as well as that of entire teams.

    • Financial Analysis & Markets

    Here, you’ll gain a background in accounting, finance, microeconomics and business analysis. You’ll study control, reporting and decision making techniques.

    • Consumers & Markets

    Here you’ll explore the concepts of global branding, marketing management and integrated marketing.

    • Strategy, Technology & Operations in a Globalising World

    This module looks at the operational, technological and strategic aspects of globalisation, as well as sustainable development.

    • People, Leadership & Organisations

    You’ll learn about resource management, leadership and management philosophy and study many common organisational phenomena.

    You will also take a set of three ‘capstone modules’, the Individual Business Project, the Year in Business and the Crossing Cultures International Study Visit. Collectively, these will prepare you to take a responsible role in nearly any international business context.

    The Year in Business in particular is an excellent opportunity to put the skills you learn to use, and develop critical real-world experience.

    Learning & Teaching

    The Royal Holloway University of London’s International management MBA degree is an intensive program, and you will learn a great deal in one short year. This will involve smaller lectures, heavily interactive tutorials and seminars, and the analysis of case studies and other practical exercises.

    Entry Requirements for overseas (non-EU) students                         

    International students must be fluent in written and spoken English. This can be demonstrated by an excellent IELTS score or one of several other testing options.
