    Course Summary

The Royal Holloway University of London’s BSc in Mathematics and Management lets you combine the highly transferrable skills you’ll gain from a Mathematics BSc degree with the real-world Management, Accounting and Business skills you gain from a Management degree program.

You’ll learn the core components of both Management and Mathematics as your core curriculum, but can define your own area or areas of specialisation by selecting elective modules which appeal to your interests and ultimate career goals. For example, you would be able to combine the disciplines of Management and Maths to prepare yourself for a unique path in business or industry by building expertise of abstract mathematical principles, information security, and statistical analysis. You’ll also gain highly marketable e-commerce, marketing and accounting skills.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
