    Learning & Teaching

    The Royal Holloway University of London’s Petroleum Geology BSc is heavily oriented towards practical skills. In fact, some 60% of your study time will be spent in practical exercises in the lab or in the field. Each module will be assessed by an end of year examination, but many will also incorporate marked coursework. This often includes dissertations, reports, practical exercises and research.

    Entry Requirements for UK and EU-nationals

    Royal Holloway’s Petroleum Geology BSc program typically requires applicants to have earned 3 A Levels at BBB or higher, or an equivalent qualification.

    Entry Requirements for overseas (non-EU) students                         

    International students must be fluent in written and spoken English. This can be demonstrated by an IELTS score of 6.5 or better overall with no less than 5.5 in any section.
