This program is available as either a standard 4 degree. However, there is a substantial co-operative element, and you will learn the ropes of this exciting and fast paced industry through at least one internship placement. This will let you explore the different aspects of this industry first hand. It might include:

    • Design
    • Import-Export
    • Manufacturing
    • Multimedia
    • Packaging
    • Promotion
    • Publishing
    • Retail
    • Styling

Note that the first year of this program is essentially identical to that of the Fashion Communication BDes program. This ensures that both cohorts learn the basics of the fashion industry together, preparing them for later specialisation. It also allows students who realise they have more affinity for a different program to transfer between the two relatively easily in that first year.
