    Learning & Teaching

SOAS’ Management degree program is generally composed of 15 and 30 credit modules. As a rule of thumb, each credit of a module will represent 10 hours of work, mostly in independent study. The remainder will be class time. Class time will consist of lectures, seminars, tutorials or practical sessions. At higher levels, lectures are replaced by smaller, more interactive tutorial sessions. Language modules tend to have longer class times.

    Career Possiblities

Graduates of SOAS’ BSc in Management may go on to higher degree studies, but more go on to begin careers as Bankers, Businesspeople, Consultants or Media Workers. Many join organisations that do business with or operate in North Africa, the Middle East or Asia.

You’ll build many transferrable skills, including economics and political economy, critical and lateral thinking, quantitative research methods, data analysis and communication. These can lead to successful, rewarding posts in nearly any industry in the public or private sectors.

    Entry Credit

Applicants must typically have achieved 3 A Levels at ABB or higher, an International Baccalaureate at 35 (6/6/5), or the international equivalent. The full list of accepted qualifications can be found here.

All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on the IELTS or a similar test.
