Course Summary
A BA in International Tourism Management from Solent University combines a great deal of very specialised management and leadership education with a general set of business skills which will be useful in nearly any industry or organisation. You’ll also get real world experience.
The course includes several optional extras, including the chance to study abroad for a semester or a full year with one of Solent’s partner institutions all around the world, a chance at an industry specific pain internship or work experience placement or special training in the management of a tourist destination organisation.
This program makes great use of Southampton’s location on the UK’s southern coast. It has close working relationships with industry organisations like Carnival UK, the Beaulieu National Motor Museum (in New Forest National Park) and Southampton International Airport. Not only do these organisations provide case studies and live briefs, they recruit many of the university’s best students.
