Course Summary
A BSc in Diagnostic Radiography from St George’s University London is a great way to begin a career as a radiographer. You’ll learn to use X-Ray, MRI, CT and Ultrasound equipment to image the internal structure of your patients’ bodies. This allows diseases and health problems to be detected, diagnosed and monitored in a minimally invasive manner.
This degree program is delivered in partnership with Kingston University, and gives you the benefit of a multi-faculty learning experience as well as St George’s unquestioned expertise.
You’ll begin by learning the science behind radiography as well as the practical and theoretical aspects of the discipline in classrooms and laboratories. In the end, though, you’ll spend a full 50% of your time in placements with NHS trusts as a student radiographer. This will ensure that you have the working skills and patient-facing experience you need to practice in this field at a professional level.
