    Learning & Teaching

    St Mary’s University relies on a mixture of innovative and traditional teaching methods to convey each module. These will include small, interactive lectures, seminars and one on one tutorial sessions as well as attending talks given by top names in the sports and sports management fields. The exact methods used vary from module to module and from lecturer to lecturer. Your progress will be assessed through examinations, coursework, blogs and simulation exercises.

    This course is heavily career oriented, and will give you experience in a wide range of roles such as Sport for Development, managing health and fitness centres, organising and delivering sporting events, sponsorship and sports marketing as well as managing professional sports teams.     Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a full BA degree.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An IELTS score of 6.0 overall and with no section scoring less than 5.5 would qualify, for example.
