    Getting your MSc, PgDip or PgCert in International Business Management from St Mary’ University shows potential employers that you are a highly trained, skilled individual with the business and leadership skills necessary to take on nearly any business role. You could easily find yourself fast-tracked to a management or leadership position in any of dozens of different industries, it in the public r not for profit sectors.

    This degree program is accessible to nearly anyone. Your undergraduate degree need not be in a business subject. Indeed, many students are accepted into the program without a baccalaureate degree at all, bot rather based on their extensive professionals experience or certification status.

    The program can be taken as a full MSc degree, or in an abbreviated fashion as a PgDip or PgCert as outlined below. Any of the three options will include an award from the Chartered Management Institute which will further enhance your employability.

    Course Outline

    This program is typically delivered over a single year at full time.

    There are three levels of certification which can be awarded. Completing at least 60 credits worth of the modules listed below, will qualify you for a Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert). If you complete all of the 120 credits of modules listed but do not complete a capstone project, you’ll qualify for a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip). Finally, if you complete the program capstone as well as the 120 credits, you can exit with the full MSc degree.

    Learning & Teaching

    You’ll experience several learning and teaching methods throughout this program. They will include, at a minimum, larger lectures, smaller and more interactive seminars and tutorials and several types of group study. You will of course conduct a great deal of independent reading and study as well. Your progress will be assessed using consultancy projects, coursework, essays and reports. No module will feature more than 2 assessed assignments, and all assignments count towards the degree award.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in an MSc degree, a PgDip or a PgCert.

    Students must typically have achieved a 2:2 undergraduate degree in a relevant subject to apply. The full list of accepted qualifications can be found here.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no section scoring less than 5.5 would qualify, for example.
