    Course Summary

Businesses today are expanding rapidly into global markets, and to do so they need a great number of skilled International Business Management graduates to help lead them to success. As existing organisations gain trade partners all over the globe and open subsidiaries in new countries, they’ll need young leaders with the skills and training to take advantage of ‘fast track’ career pathways.

Staffordshire University’s BSc in International Business is one of the flagship programs offered by their newly refurbished Business School. This is an opportunity to learn the theory behind modern international business and management as well as the practical skills you’ll need to succeed in this competitive field.

You’ll gain skills in networking, cross-cultural communication, interpersonal influence, collaboration, resilience, emotional intelligence and adaptive thinking. You’ll also have the chance to spend time in a leadership-oriented work placement, either in the UK or abroad. This could be the experience which makes your early career.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
