Teesside University’s MEng in Aerospace Engineering with Industry is integrated with their BEng program, providing a complete Master’s degree education in this highly specialised field with a full year’s experience working in the aerospace industry in just 5 years. This degree program is fully accredited at the Master’s level by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and recognised by the Engineering Council. That means that successful completion of the course at a high level meets all UK Standards for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC).
One of the unique features of this course is the integrated flight test course in year 2. You’ll fly in a Jetstream aircraft, gathering data as it manoeuvres in various conditions. You’ll work in many specialised labs, on many kinds of industry equipment and with advanced simulators. You’ll also study rotorcraft, computational fluid dynamics, production management and a range of other practically oriented subjects.
