Taught modules will be delivered in a variety of ways, depending on the nature of the material and the skills or preferences of the course tutor. Most full time students will have around 12 hours of ‘contact time’ in lectures, seminars and skills workshops each week. The lectures will introduce new topics and explain them in the broadest sense. You’ll then be able to discuss the lecture and reading material in the smaller, more interactive seminar sessions.

    Career Possiblities

You’ll have several options before you upon graduation. The most common pathway is to gain your professional accreditation in accountancy, becoming a Chartered Accountant. Nonetheless, you could also continue in academia at the MSc level, or enter directly into business or industry to apply what you’ve learned. The university’s careers team and mentors will be of great help choosing the path that is best for you and for your ultimate career goals.

Successful completion will result in a 3 year BSc degree.
