    Course Summary

The MSc in International Business offered by Canterbury Christ Church University can be taken with either of two named degree specialisations – Marketing or Finance. Either option will prepare you for an exciting career in international business, and give you the cultural, political and economic understanding you’ll need to become a success on that stage.

You’ll learn to manage people from many nations, how to set policy and business strategy in a complex global context, and how to ensure clear communication between diverse stakeholders in very complex international ventures.

This course is ideal for new graduates with little or no work experience. It will convey what you need to know before you can embark on a fast track to management career path in some of the UK’s fastest growing industries. As there is a heavy focus on employability and work-based learning, you’ll be in an excellent position when you graduate.

If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness. Many employers actively seek candidates with these benefits. Our network of contacts, a dedicated employability service and a reputation in the legal profession mean we also have an outstanding track-record of finding students legal employment. Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, you will have gained many transferable skills. By taking the conversion route into law, you are showing motivation and determination by choosing law at a later stage than some others. This looks good to employers.
