    Course Outline

    This course is delivered over 4 years at full time. Your first 2 years will focus mainly on film and media analysis and criticism. You’ll look at different media such as film, television and digital media, and will also gain insight into the wants and needs of different audiences.

    You will spend the bulk of your learning time in independent study, and your taught modules will include a fairly standard mix of seminars, interactive tutorials and lecture classes. Each benefits from the cutting edge Media and Film research being conducted at Stirling.

    Entry Credit

    Entry Requirements for UK and EU-nationals

    This BA program typically requires applicants to have achieved 3 A Levels of BBB or better, SQA Highers at AABB or higher, or one of a number of equivalent academic certifications.

    Entry Requirements for overseas (non-EU) students                         

    International students must be fluent in written and spoken English. This can be demonstrated by an IELTS score of 6.0 or better overall, with no less than 5.5 in any one component.
