    A BA in Animation from the University of the Arts London gives you the core skills you’ll need to succeed in the animation industry.     At the beginning of your second year, you’ll choose one of four specialist degree pathways, each with its own named degree. You could finish with either a BA (hons) Animation in Animation Arts, in 3D Computer Animation, in Visual Effects, or in Game Arts. No matter what specialisation you settle on, you’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary context, and will gain skills and experience in a wide range of different techniques and approaches to animation and the arts in general.

    If you are changing direction after starting in another career area, you will possess valuable work experience and professional awareness.     Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 3 year BA degree.

    Applicants must typically have earned 64 UCAS Tariff points, but other qualifications are also accepted. The full list of accepted qualifications can be found here.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. An IELTS score of 6.0 overall and no element scoring less than 5.5 would qualify, for example.
