    Course Outline

    This program can be taken as an MSc (1 year at full time, 33 months at part time), As a PGDip at 22 months in part time, or as a PGCert at one year in part time.

    This module gives you the knowledge and specific techniques you’ll need to help make a company truly responsive to the needs of their customers, clients or users.

    Here you’ll learn how to analyse both organisations and people in such a way as to learn significant truths about them.

    • Strategic Analysis

    This module will make you familiar with economic analysis and the practice of setting strategy, and teach you how to base strategy on economic realities.

    Learning & Teaching

    The Business Management program at UWE can be an intensive full-time experience or a part time study over 2 to 3 years. Either way, you’ll experience a range of teaching techniques, including large lectures and small seminars. You’ll do a wide range of assignments, case studies and presentations, at all degree levels. If you opt for the full MSc degree you’ll research and deliver a substantial dissertation as well.

    Many students of this course will already be in employment. They typically take the course in order to increase their promotion potential or to put themselves in line for a particular management level position. Other students are fresh out of an undergraduate degree, and are seeking to distinguish themselves form graduates without master’s level certifications.     Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 1 year MSc degree, A PGDip or a PGCert, depending on the modules you take.

    Applicants must typically have achieved a 2:2 honours degree in any subject, or have a business or professional qualification of equivalent weight. Other qualifications can be accepted, please see here.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. This could include an IELTS score of 6.5 overall and no less than 5.5 in any one component.
