    Course Outline

    There will be multiple opportunities to travel the world and within the UK, exploring businesses plying the international tourism trade in major world markets. You’ll also have a chance to undertake an internship or paid industrial placement.

    This degree program is typically delivered over 3 at full time, or over as many as 6 years at part time. If you opt for a full year’s work placement, this will be a 4 year degree, or up to 7 years part time.

    A BA in International Travel and Tourism Management from UWTSD prepares you for a wide range of roles in the world’s tourism, travel and events industries. Recent graduates have become International Hotel Managers, Attraction Managers, Airline Managers, Tour Operators, Travel Managers and Tourism Managers with organisations like Walt Disney World Florida, Servis Air Cardiff Airport, the Ritz Carlton and Capella Hotels, Contiki Holidays, BTA New York and Visit Wales.

    Entry Credit

    Successful completion will result in a 3 year BA degree.

    Applicants must typically have earned 88 UCAS Tariff points or the international equivalent. The full list of qualifications which are accepted can be found here.

    All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test. A good IELTS score would qualify, for example.
